This is a poster that ayeimhuuy (Huy!) made for me and one of my favorite gifts that I took back from Cali-Nev-Ha’s DCON <3. Turned out… he spent 3 hours on it D:

Well, what I love about this guy, is that he’s one of those types of people that you don’t have to talk to everyday to know that we’re still friends and he’s one of those people that you just think we’ll forever be chill with each other.

AND. He represents one of the many aspects I love about Key Club. Key Club, in my eyes, is like a whole new world all by itself where we don’t have to worry about initial impressions, how we look, or where we come from. Somehow, as a group, we accept almost everything with that first hello. And somehow, it doesn’t feel weird at all to just walk up to someone and say hello. But the great thing about Key Clubbers is that we don’t just MEET someone, we get to know them, we listen, and we talk to them later, building friendships that won’t just get us by during the day but serve as a foundation that we could return to during our up and down moments in life. Well, I sometimes wish that I didn’t think Key Club was its own world and that IT WAS THE world. How would life be if we always were so open like this? So friendly, so warm, and so honest? Think about it(:

This relates to my Huy bear because he was just one of those people that just blessed my CTC group (even if he was there just to be there). I didn’t think I’d end up being close to him but somehow we did and even if we don’t talk everyday or even see each other (very rarely), he still makes me smile all the same. I guess we related because we’re so passionate about Key Club. And being passionate about Key Club isn’t just about what we do, it’s about the people in it(:

Dear Grizzly—Thank you so much for the gift. I had no idea you would bring something so…awesome. You may not know, but I LOVE gifts that are hand-made and with care. I treasure this poster very much. Please come into our area one day so we can hang out<3 Luv you!
